We set up Willoughby differently. No staff, no sales pitch. Just walk in and try every mattress at your own pace.
- Just walk in. No appointment, no waiting. The door is open during business hours. Simply enter and start exploring.
- Test various configurations. It’s designed to be intuitive. Just follow the floor numbers. Each mattress is clearly numbered by firmness level.
- Order easily. Found your perfect mattress? Scan the QR code to see pricing and order directly from your phone. You can also call or go online later to order.

Wonderful to lie down for 15 min without a salesperson hovering around you. We stayed about 90 mins playing with the configurations to try things out. Karl (the owner) helped us on the phone when we had questions. A great experience – I hope more staffless stores open up!

If I could give more than 5 stars for ausbeds, I would. The mattress is great, but the service we received is what stood out for us. We visited the Willoughby showroom, placed an order the next week, had it delivered on our preferred day with plenty of communication. We’ve had some shocking experiences with companies/services lately as we are settling into a new home but these guys are a true gem. If they sold dish soap I’d buy it. Thanks so much guys, really appreciate your customer service.

The concept is great!
After a lot of online reading, we opted to visit the staffless showroom and really liked that we were able to try each bed as we liked. The concept is great. Customer service was just as amazing, with both Angus and Tim being very responsive and helpful. The mattress came very quickly and the guys set it up directly in our bedroom. The mattress itself is as advertised, modular and extremely comfortable. Would buy again!
