King Single Mattress

All of our King Single mattress types use Australian standard sizes, each one featuring a removable mattress cover with an extremely durable Japanese YKK zipper.

40% more springs

All of Ausbeds King Single mattress types use a Honeycomb nested pocket spring unit featuring 540 springs, this is approximately 40% more springs than an average single pocket spring mattress sold in Australia. This is due to the placement of the springs allowing more space for more pocket springs. More springs equals fewer gaps, which means a more cuddly feel with a lot more cushioning.

Our King Single mattress firmness options

Each of the Ausbeds King Single mattress types come in 6 main firmness options, starting from our 4 (very soft) up to a 10 (very firm). There are also three models to choose from, our Cooper Essential, Sienna Memory and Aurora Latex. That means there are a total of 18 variations, which is also true for all our wider and longer king single beds, double mattress, queen size mattress and king mattress sizes. We do have other solutions and variations available outside of these already great options for people who are a bit more specific with how they would like it to feel and to suit the type of sleeper they are. We try to get it right for all of our customers.

Check your base before you purchase

Before you purchase an AusBeds king-single size mattress please check your base. If the base has a lip on it that extends up the side of the mattress, you should double-check the size of the base. Occasionally we find that some older style bases don’t leave much room to tuck the sheets into the sides of the mattresses. If you are confused about this please call us as we will be more than happy to guide you through this.

Upgrade/Adjust your mattress

The Sienna can be upgraded to the Aurora even after delivery, this is an easy change due to them having the same zip-off cover and height so only the components/foam inside the mattress would need to change. It’s a much better option than shelling out extra down the line for an expensive mattress topper. We want you to rest easy with any AusBeds, that’s our promise to you.
