Can I replace a single layer in the future?

Yes. The cover, springs, micro springs and latex are all replaceable components. To replace something, just call up the Ausbeds showroom on 02 8999 333, and we will arrange an invoice. We don't charge more than 25% of the mattress price for a layer.

No. Latex is a natural, breathable and open-cell foam. We use certified organic latex. No heat-trapping memory foam or polyurethane foam here. Hot sleepers love our mattresses.

Will it work on an adjustable base?

Yes, all Ausbeds mattresses work on adjustable bed bases.

Is the mattress hypoallergenic or dust-mite resistant?

Latex is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites, mould, and bacteria.

Can I wash the cover?

Yes. You can wash the cover on a cold cycle in the washing machine or spot-clean it. Just make sure to line-dry and not tumble-dry.

What does the 10-year warranty cover?

Our 10-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, sagging beyond acceptable limits, and faulty components. We stand by every mattress we make. You can download the warranty here.

We have two main types: soft (fluffy and cloud-like feel) and medium (balanced and responsive feel). Sustainable, naturally dust mite resistant and lasts 3-4x longer than most polyurethane foams.

Micro springs

For pressure relief and contouring

We use 2 layers of micro springs (3200 springs on a queen). Side sleepers love micro springs because they cushion your shoulders and hips. For people who prefer a firmer surface, we offer 1 layer of micro springs for back and stomach sleepers.

We arrange our pocket springs in a honeycomb pattern, fitting around 30% more springs than a standard row layout. We then match their tension to your body weight so the mattress supports and contours around you properly.

Tencel cover

Soft, stretchy and removable for washing

Our eucalyptus-based Tencel cover stretches with the latex and springs instead of restricting how they move. It fully unzips so you can change any internal layer, and it can be machine-washed on a cold cycle.

Softness without the sink

A cushioned surface doesn’t mean giving up firm support underneath.

Latex, micro springs and pocket springs all do different jobs. Soft latex and micro springs cushion your shoulders and hips, while the honeycomb pocket springs underneath support your body weight. This gives you a soft surface without making the whole mattress feel unsupportive.

If you weigh over 80kg and choose soft latex, we recommend firm springs for stronger support underneath. If you weigh under 80kg, medium springs should provide the right balance. Sharing the mattress? Base your spring choice on the heavier sleeper.
