Extra springs for optimal support

The spring unit in each of the ausbeds’ double mattresses contains 810 honeycomb nested springs. This is approximately 40% more springs than a typical double pocket spring mattress that you would purchase in Australia.

Our Queen mattress firmness options

Each of the ausbeds Double mattress models are available in 6 main feels with three 3 models to choose from. That means there are a total of 18 variations of ausbeds Double mattress sizes, and the same is true for all our singles, king single beds, queen size mattresses and king-sized beds. If you are still not satisfied with the feel, we have other variations available. The reason we have so many firmness variations is that we have found that some people are extremely specific with what they would like. We try very hard to get it just right for our customers.

Check your base before you purchase

Before you purchase an AusBeds Double mattress please check your base. If the base has a lip on it that extends up the side of the mattress, you should double-check the size of the base. Occasionally we find that some older style bases don’t leave much room to tuck the sheets into the sides of the mattresses. If you are confused about this please call us as we will be more than happy to guide you through this.

Depth and upgrade options for a good night’s sleep

Our Cooper Polyfoam Double has a total depth of 28cm, whereas our Sienna and Aurora models have a total depth of 32cm. The mattress dimensions of the Sienna can be upgraded to the Aurora even after delivery, this is an easy change due to them having the same zip-off cover and depth so only the components/foam inside the mattress would need to change.
