The top of the byron base stands 30cm from the ground and uses a rigid slat setup. You can order this with wheels or flat gliders, just leave a note at checkout.
It’s wrapped in a white polyester fabric. The fabric isn’t as pretty as the black Hudson base, however, it is functionally the same.
It has been fully fabricated so there is no need to assemble. We find that anything you need to assemble yourself has a much shorter lifespan.
We’ll guarantee the base for ten years. We’ve never heard of an ensemble base breaking. They’re really solid and will usually only need to be replaced when they look old and tattered.
Each base is only available to order with a mattress, we don’t sell them by themselves.
