Do Ausbeds mattresses have zones?

Understanding the unique needs of every sleeper, we’ve delved deep into the world of mattress design. Here’s what we’ve found:

  • Zones Aren’t Always Effective: We’ve extensively tested zoned mattresses and, more often than not, they don’t provide the promised comfort.

  • Diversity in Body Shapes: Everyone’s body is distinctively shaped, which means zones can’t cater to everyone’s specific comfort and support needs.

  • Our Solution: Instead of relying on zones, we’ve incorporated precision-tuned springs in our mattresses. These springs ensure contoured support without the complications of zoned firmness.

In essence, with Ausbeds, you’re not just getting a mattress; you’re investing in personalized comfort tailored to your unique body shape.

What are the honeycomb springs in Ausbeds mattresses?

Diving into the intricate engineering of mattresses, we recognized the potential to innovate beyond traditional spring designs. Here’s what sets our design apart:

  • Honeycomb Pattern: Unlike the usual spring mattresses, our design features a unique honeycomb layout, ensuring there are no gaps between springs.

  • More Springs, More Comfort: This design allows us to pack in 30% more springs than conventional mattresses of the same size.

  • Consistent Support: Every inch of our mattress provides unwavering support, ensuring a uniform feel across the entire surface.

  • Durability and Contouring: Not only is our design robust, ensuring longevity, but it also seamlessly contours to the body, offering unparalleled comfort.

In conclusion, the Ausbeds honeycomb spring design is not just a feature – it’s a revolution in mattress engineering, ensuring every night’s sleep is blissfully comfortable.

How was the ausbeds modular concept conceived?

    From the owner

In my decade as a chef, I thrived in the high-stress kitchen environment. Transitioning to the mattress world, I faced challenges: customers wanting firmness adjustments and foam softening. These felt like the intense, unexpected kitchen rushes.

Inspired by “mise en place” (everything in its place), where every ingredient was prepped for quick, flawless dishes, I adopted a similar approach for mattresses. I prepped for instant adjustments to meet our customers’ comfort needs.

Thus, the Ausbeds mattress system was born. Just as I once ensured swift gourmet meals, now I guarantee rapid sleep solutions. like a great dish, you shouldn’t need to wait too long to get great sleep

    Karl van Lieshout, Ausbeds owner.

“The Last Mattress You’ll Need: Ausbeds’ Sustainable Vision”

    A note from the owner.

Watching my buddy Tom swap out a worn tire, I jokingly said, “Why not chuck the entire bike?” Tom chuckled, “Just for a tire? Nah.”

It hit me then and there. If Tom wouldn’t ditch a whole bike over one tire, why should anyone dump a mattress due to one tired component? This revelation laid the groundwork for Ausbeds: creating durable mattresses with easily replaceable parts.

In an age of disposability, sending an entire mattress to the dump over a single component is wasteful. That’s why we’ve simplified and economized the replacement process. With Ausbeds, you’re not just choosing comfort, you’re choosing sustainability.

    Ausbeds Parts & Maintenance FAQ

What happens if something goes wrong with the mattress?

Answer: If you feel something’s off with your Ausbeds mattress, it’s possible one of the components might have worn out or failed over time. Here’s how we address it:

    1. Component Failure: If a component of the mattress has genuinely failed, we offer a prorated replacement. This means you’ll pay a reduced price based on how long you’ve had the mattress.

    2. Natural Wear and Tear: Mattresses naturally undergo wear and tear over the years. So, while a mattress might not feel as pristine in year 7 as it did when new, that’s a normal process. If you want to rejuvenate that fresh feel, you can opt to purchase a new component at its standard price.

Remember, our commitment is to your comfort. If you have any concerns or feel that something isn’t right, please reach out. We’re here to assist!

What if I wish to tweak the firmness after the 100 days?
